After collecting delegates from Community Gathering that was attended by a lot of community and non government organization , finally, AAYCM Project presents a great workshop “dream it, do it, grow it”. The workshop purpose for cultivating young people who have an initiative or planning for held a project related Human Rights sector. It held on Saturday until Sunday, July 17th-18th 2010 in Wisma Papandayan Semarang start from 2 pm on Saturday.
Attended by 18 participant from 7 team with different community, Workshop Dream it, Do it, Grow it were very extraordinary agenda. Guide by Dimas Suryo (Vice President of Talent Management AIESEC LC UNDIP), the agenda start from Introduction to AIESEC and it’s member, introduction each other from delegates. Social Issue and Human Rights, Discover, Dream, Design, and Deliver session held sustainably by each Facilitator which are the organizing committee itself. Kak Echin deliver the material about Social Issue and human rights, Akbar for Discover, Raras for Dream, Dimas for Design and Icha for Deliver.
All delegates were very interesting with the material that delivered by facilitator. They also do the role dance with all of AIESECers. The Workshop itself aimed for cultivating youth in Semarang and around who has a project based on human rights issue to improve their project to be more unique, impactful, visionary, and sustainably. The Follow up from workshop itself are the team from AIESEC-ASHOKA Youg Changemaker Project (They are Kak Echin as Coach and Mentor, Raras as OCP, Akbar as OC Communication and Program, Dimas as OC Marketing, and Icha as OC Finance) will keep contact to the all of delegates for do the controlling all the project and make sure that the project done align with our vision and our destination. The Controlling will held until the end of October, so after that time we’ll do the selection for all team to send them to ASHOKA panel selection and will have 20 best project nationally and the end the event there are Youthpreneurship Forum and the Young Changemakers will be award there. So, we hope We can sent AIESEC LC UNDIP representative to be young Changemakers 2010.
